  1. 10 Race heats (doubles as 10 heats round 2 ’06 Surfcross Nationals)

This is televised as programme one on television

 

  1. Quarter Final: top 10 boats qualify (doubles as Final or round 2 ’06 Surfcross Nationals)

 

  1. Repercharge Quarter Final: next 10 boats qualify for this race

 

 

  1. Semi-Final: Top 7 boats from Quarter Final qualify and top 3 boats from repercharge Quarter qualify.

 

  1. Final: Top 8 boats from semi-final qualify.

 

Gold is first in this race

Silver is second in this race

Bronze is third in this race

 

Notes:

-    Total of 14 races on day

-    Separate Southern Swell to Mt Maunganui champion

-    Only points from heats and Quarter Final qualify for Championship

-    Strict beach set-up for film crew

-    Strict time line for film crew

-    Pit area to far side of start area. No boats to be left in any other area.
