BIG BUOYS’ ThunderCat Racing back in town. Bournemouth is hosting the start of the 2016 RYA P750 Bri

ThunderCat Racing is heading to Bournemouth Beach, on Saturday 16th – Sunday 17th April to kick off their first two rounds of the RYA British Championship. The two-day event will see over 20 two man teams from across the UK battle through the conditions from 11.30 to15.30 each day to gain points for the prestigious British Championship title. Not to be confused with any other sport ThunderCat Racing is the ultimate global Inflatable Boat Race series – faster and harder than ever seen before.

The teams and their followers will flock to the shore east of Bournemouth Piers to compete against each other. This series is certainly not a new concept, nor constrained to the UK. Born out of South Africa over 30 years ago, the sport has now spanned to more than 18 countries all adopting the same UIM rules and classifications. It is the ultimate spectator experience, it's close to shore circuits ensure all the action can be seen from the comfort of your deck chair!

Competition is extremely tight, keep an eye out for some of the anticipated front runners. Team 33 – Multispark Racing Products local Lymington boys Bligh Julius and Charles Hatfield. From Poole we have local Team 61 - Multispark – Gary Tolman driving and Scott Brown as co-driver. There are also 3 Welsh team and a Scottish team hoping to conquer the English coast line. Look on for the full line up, pick your favorite team and come and support them!
