2020 ThunderCat Racing (UIM P750) World Championship, Still Bay, South Africa

ThunderCat Racing UK is very much part of a large and growing global family. This is exemplified by an annual World UIM P750 Championship which this year takes place in Still Bay (Stilbaai), South Africa between the 21st and 29th March 2020. Still Bay also known as the Bay of Sleeping Beauty is a town along the southern coast of South Africa about four hours by car from Cape Town. Thousands of spectators are expected to follow all the racing, which is positioning itself as one of the most prominent water sports of the twenty-first century.

ThunderCat racing is the world most exhilarating water sport and one of the fastest-growing sports across the globe. Crews consist of a drive and a co-driver. The driver sits in the rear of the ThunderCat boat, while the co-driver uses his weight to adjust the trim or the boat.

Each World Championship invites teams from all over the globe to take part in a range of disciplines and will involve speed, height and a high level of physical exertion in one of most exciting forms of extreme racing on water. The champions of the world will be crowned after a week of surf, flat water and long haul racing. Good luck to all the percipients from all of the ThunderCat Racing UK Community.
