Driver info : Steve Pidsley - Co-driver info : alex pidsley
Always water mad Steve started sailing with his boys when they were 4,5,6, then jet skis, followed by Zapcats and now Thundercats!
Bobby is not only one of Steve's co-drivers but also his son. Jason who is also a co-driver works with with the family in the Oxfordshire based Kitchen business Sherwood Kitchens and is the team’s new secret weapon. Steve's forth son Alex who has also raced for a season in the Zapcat series and is always on standby for Steve in an emergency!
During the 2014 season, Who The Hell joined ThunderCat Racing and have enjoyed some fabulous racing and the team are a definite asset to our ThunderCat community. Steve says "We are very aware of the differences between Zapcat and ThunderCat and in fact that is what has renewed our enthusiasm in the sport. The plan was for Who The Hell is to be entering the last few ThunderCat Rounds plus all of the 2015 events in the UK and hopefully qualify for the UIM ThunderCat World Championship scheduled to be held in Malta!"
All of this is to be done on a small budget with a target of stepping on the podium even if not the top step.
Well 2015 was a great season's racing for Who The Hell, the team were placed 5th and Steve was also 5th in the driver championship along with Jason 5th in the co-driver championship.
In October the team travelled to Malta as part of the UK team and after having to retire in the long-haul event, they were placed 13th overall in the Stock Class.
We look forward to seeing them achieve further great results in 2016 with son Alex jumping in the boat for the new season. Good Luck guys!
